CCPD Event Planning / Associate Director Administrative Assistant / Graphic Designer Job Description

In this position you will learn:

  • Event Planning /Production and email social media marketing

  • Research techniques for industry inquiries

  • Program planning and grant research

  • How to communicate effectively to professionals, faculty and students
     

You will need to:

  • Communicate at a high-level, both verbally and in writing

  • Assist with developing email and social media  marketing plans and implementing the outreach/advertising program to students, faculty, alumni and employers

  • Fully understand and effectively market and encourage participation in the CCPD programs

  • Create marketing and educational resources

  • Commit to deadlines and complete projects on time
     

  • Participate in the development and organization of career fairs, job readiness and employer events

  • Collect and coordinate key information for event program publications

  • Enter critical program data into administrative reports with accuracy

  • Make zoom and phone calls to employers and students in a professional and upbeat manner

  • Assist with conducting professional development research for  educational resources, online and office programs

  • Work independently but willing to take directions and ask questions to ensure projects are in-line with the Director’s vision

  • Suggest new ideas related to the mission of the CCPD Office

  • Utilize Google Suite, Zoom, and other computer programs

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Able to work on campus and occassionally remote

Knowledge of Google Suite

An interest in career related issues

Event planning and production experience

Excellent research skills

Good communication skills over the phone and written.

Able to pay close attention to details

Able to work within a team

 

The specifics:

Must be currently enrolled student at Pratt and eligible for Federal Work Study. Knowledge of Google Suite skills, Professionalism and great time management skills. This position will be for the Fall 2025/Spring 2026 semester, and interviews begin next week and the following week. Base rate payment in the fall semester will be $16.50 per hour.
