Job Description

Are you a graphic design student with strong communication skills, experience with visual identity, promotional materials, or info graphics? Are you excited about experimental graphic design that exceeds expectations? If so, this may be a great campus job for you! 

The School of Design's Production Labs is seeking a graphic design graduate assistant designer with a methodical and professional design process to assist in developing unique, compelling, and memorable graphic materials across a variety of channels. Working with staff of Production Labs, the GA will create graphic assets that clearly communicate project objectives, assisting with a wide range of formats including: signage, wayfinding, posters, announcements, inivtations, handbooks, brochures, fliers, merchandise, invitations, promotional collateral material, digital content for social media and websites. In addition to graphic design work, the Graduate Assistant in this role may be asked to assist in office administrative support as needed.

 

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Communication Design graduate students, or relevant previous experience with print or interactive digital graphics
  • Knowledge and previous experience with typography and grid systems
  • Strong attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in the complete Adobe Creative Cloud softwear suite
  • Ability to work quicky and effectively, with an ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
