SEEKING STUDENT OFFICE ASSISTANTS: INTERIOR DESIGN STUDENTS ONLY Job Description The Interior Design Department Office is seeking Graduate Assistants to work for the Spring 2026 semester, with the potential to continue for subsequent semesters. We are looking for self-motivated people who want to gain an understanding of the office structure and to work with faculty and the student body. Applicants who are interested in working over the 25-26 Winterim period should also use this form. Winterim hours are 9-5, with an hour for lunch, the week of 12/15, and return on January 5th through January 23rd. Students are welcome to work as many days a week as they can depending on their schedule, and we are also open to later start dates. Job Requirements Office assistants must be self-motivated, organized, responsible and good communicators. Assistants answer the phones, organize material for the department, help with maintenance of the office and classrooms, the digital and physical archive, poster creation/design, social media tasks, prospective student contact, as well as assist with lobby exhibits. Assist in directing students and professors to available resources. Scan and copy material for professors. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is required. AutoCAD experience is a plus. Availability to work at least one 4-hour shift per week is required; see shift breakdown below. Student workers are able to work up to 20 hours per week as per Pratt Institute guidelines.
Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:45am - 4:45pm during the semester with the option of working morning and/or afternoon shifts: Anticipated starting date: Monday, 1/26 We will interview you.
