Job Description

The Resilience, Wellness and Well-being Graduate Assistant will work with the Assistant Director of Creative Resilience and Well-being programs to plan, prepare for, market, and run Wellness Wednesdays and Make Healthy programming throughout the year. 

 

Wellness Wednesdays: Are weekly drop-in opportunties in the Student Wellness Center. Programs will focus on small wellness activities or information shares with changing topics each week. Work for this will include coming up with program ideas, preparing materials for programs, marketing support, and helping run the weekly sessions (pending schedule availability)

Make Healthy: An on-going campaign around healthy art making practices with a strong focus on materials safety. Work for this will include creating content for social media and planning regular tabling sessions throughout the semester.

 

This assistantship has the opportunity to continue into Spring 2027 for an additioanl $1,800 stipend. Expected work about 6 hours a week.

 

Responsibilities

  • Research for programming topics

  • Preparing handouts, flyers, brochures, etc

  • Make sure all necessary supplies have been aquired and are organized for weekly events

  • Work closely with the Assistant Director, Creative Resilience and Well-being Programs to plan a campaign for campus awareness around healthy art-making (digital and print graphics, events, etc.)

    • Create a list and timeline of deliverables

    • Identify partnerships and spaces on campus for high impact

  • Develop campaign content within Pratt’s brand guidelines

  • Distribute deliverables throughout campus in a variety of different mediums (posters, tv screen slides, and social media).

  • Assist the Assistant Director in running additional programs or events to increase campaign awareness.

  • Work with the Assistant Director to assess the impact of programming.

Job Requirements

Must be a current graduate student to apply

Skills and experience:

  • Strong research skills

  • Graphic design experience and portfolio

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Professional experience with Instagram a plus

This position is about 6 hours a week with the expectation of 2-4 scheduled hours within the Mon-Fri 9-5 period and the remaining 2-4 as flexible. This position can be hybrid or fully in-person with an expectation of 2-3 in person hours a week.
