PRODUCTION GRADUATE ASSISTANT 6-8 people, up to 20 hours per week, starting May 26, 2026. All interested graduate students enrolled for classes in any Summer Term 2026 and the Fall 2026 semester are invited to apply. Note: This position is located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. AquaSteady is a water-absorbent hydrogel made from seaweed. It helps farmers enhance soil fertility and water retention to protect crops from irregular rainfalls and irrigations. AquaSteady is a cross-disciplinary, multi-establishment research initiative with Phase II funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation Convergence Accelerator. We’re seeking Production Graduate Assistants to produce the hydrogel in the Pratt Institute Research Yard within the Brooklyn Navy Yard. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to an interdisciplinary project that combines design and science to create large-scale solutions to complex problems caused by climate change.
