School of Art Dean’s Office Graduate Assistant 8 - 10 hours per week (flexible based on availability) One Semester Position; with potential to renew for Spring 2026 Application Deadline: August 29, 2025 Anticipated start date: September 15, 2025 TasksAssist in the design and creation of digital assets for the School of Art Dean’s Office programming and promotional campaigns, including posters, Instagram, email banners, individual class promotion etc. Generate original designs and reusable templates. Assist with hanging posters all over campus. Maintain an archive of photos, videos and promotional materials in the School of Art Google Drive. Digitize and archive paperwork from past semesters for the Assistant Dean of the school of Art. Research accessibility best practices for Instagram, email, and poster design. Work with the Assistant to the Dean to create a visual communications style and accessibility guide for the Dean’s Office. Assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed.
ScheduleThis is an in-person position consisting of two 3-4 hour shifts per week. Shifts will be available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 9am-5pm. Location: School of Art Dean’s Office, Main Building, Fourth Floor, Room 411, Brooklyn Campus. Please submit Resume 3-8 examples of previous graphic design work (this can be classwork or outside projects) Please state what software you are familiar with Please write a brief statement describing your interest in this position & how your previous experiences make you a qualified candidate.
