Responsibilities: · assist students with questions regarding all Core Year coursework (601, 613): · adobe suite · understanding relationship between existing conditions and proposed design · understanding of full-scale fabrication and construction · model making · material knowledge · knowledge/ability to assist students with course specific softwares Coordination and Content Development for Students Teaching Students Canvas Page Throughout the semester you will identify recurring inquiries from students, and/or possible helpful tips to share. We ask that along with other Studio Assistants, each of you develop a workshop tutorial for a specific skill or tool/software that addresses this inquiry or tip. You must confirm that the tutorial does not currently exist in the STS Canvas Page media gallery, and that each Studio Assistant does a different tutorial/workshop. The workshop should be recorded and added to the Media Gallery as a resource for all students. The Department will create a Google Chat where you can coordinate and communicate with all of the Studio Assistants.
