Job Description	STEAM Lab is a program within Pratt's Center K-12 that provides free extracurricular classes for middle and high schoolers. STEAM Lab is looking for Teaching Assistants for our Fashion Alchemy course for middle schoolers this fall! In this course, students will learn how to design and make their own fashion pieces, using a range of natural dyeing methods and found object upcycling. The position is at MS 267, 800 Gates Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11221 on Wednesdays 3:30-5:30pm, from September 30 through December 2. Teaching Assistants will help with teaching students, as well as prep work, attendance, and cleanup. The pay is $17/hour for undergraduates and $20/hour for graduates, paid at 3 hours per day to account for travel time.
Job Requirements	MUST: be available Wednesdays 3:30-5:30pm, from September 30 through December 2 have a passion for working with young people be reliable, friendly, flexible, and self-starting have hands-on experience with at least 2 of the following skills: sewing natural dyeing patternmaking It's also great if you: have experience teaching / working with young people
